150 Years of Broadway Musicals—Part 2 resumes where Part 1 concluded—covering the late 1950s to the 2010s. Enjoy short clips of Broadway musicals and some renditions of show tunes on the piano. The short clips come from a variety of sources including performances in community theaters and revivals staged in schools. Experience the fascinating development of the musical from the Golden Age to today.

Instructor: Michael Ruiz (mjtruiz@gmail.com) is a UNC Asheville professor of physics, holds a doctorate in theoretical physics and has had his physics courses featured on CNN. He is also a pianist and composer with three piano concertos performed by the Winston-Salem Symphony.
