One of the fascinating things about astronomy is how quickly it changes. Every year we learn new things about the Universe, and we “unlearn” things we previously thought were true. We will explore some of the more recent findings, such as bodies beyond Pluto, while we remind ourselves of some old favorites like our place in the Universe.
Instructor: Mark Whipple (firstname.lastname@example.org) has been an instructor at the College for Seniors since 2013 and a teacher for his entire adult life. His fascination with astronomy has not changed since childhood.
