Join us for glorious winter hiking which offers better views, beautiful clear skies, no bugs, leaves off the trees and more open spaces. We will start this course with an easy trek over three miles and gradually increase distance and elevation. Hikes will commence within 45 minutes from the Reuter Center. Prerequisite: Hikers should be able to walk safely 3-4 miles on uneven terrain gradually increasing elevation to 800 ft. before starting this course.
Instructors: Rebecca Banner (firstname.lastname@example.org) worked in education for 27 years prior to retiring in 2007. Rebecca is a member of the Carolina Mountain Club and several other hiking groups. Howard Waxman (email@example.com) is an active retiree with 43 years as a small business owner. He is an active hiker and participates in several other sports activities. Howard has participated in several hiking classes at College for Seniors.
