Has traditional theology failed you? Has the religion of your youth failed to answer the major questions of adulthood? Why not build your own theology? Take some time to consider life’s “big questions.”  We will examine the structure of traditional theology with an eye to what works —and what fails. We will perform a series of exercises that will assist you in prioritizing your theological goals. Our final goal is for members to develop and share a theological statement of our own — a personal rendering that meets our individual and social needs.

Instructor: In his wild and exhausting youth Bob Falanga (robertjfalanga@gmail.com) attended the very progressive Union Theological Seminary where he spent many hours in esoteric theological debate while enjoying freshly fried donuts at the student lounge. Now in old age — and forced to skip the donuts — Bob still enjoys arcane theological discussions. Fortunately our prestigious College for Seniors provides seniors who are willing to join in such pursuit. Donuts optional!
