Women scientists have experienced barriers to gender equality in ways different than in other professions. We will explore some of these unique historical impediments and how brilliant women of physics nevertheless prevailed. We will explore the fascinating lives of three women who overcame immense hurdles to become some of the greatest physics minds of all time as a way to understand the ways women have prevailed despite impediments.
