We will practice gentle yoga postures, breathing and relaxation, on both chairs and mats. Learn how to relieve chronic pain and stress, balance and breathing issues. Each session includes lecture and demonstration and participation followed by Yoga practice. Materials List: Yoga mat, blanket to use as a prop, and two yoga blocks 4" x 6" x 9" (helpful but not required).
Darleen Benson (firstname.lastname@example.org) began a yoga practice almost 40 years ago. She completed yoga teacher training in 2015 and then graduated from Integrative Yoga for Seniors Professional Training at Duke University School of Integrative Medicine. She has completed training in Yoga for Osteoporosis, Pelvic Floor Health, Chair Yoga, and Postural Changes of Aging that inform her teaching style and content.
