This workshop covers how to organize and manage your photo files, including procedures to create backup systems to prevent accidental loss and organizing files so you can easily find your images. Also covered are basic computer workflow methods related to image handling, starting with your camera, creating folder systems, converting JPEG images to TIFF, understanding image size and resolution (dpi/ppi), storing and archiving images, burning CDs, and preparing files for email, web, print, and for Internet sites.

Tim Barnwell (barnwellphoto@hotmail.com) has been a professional photographer for over thirty years. His career includes time as a photography instructor and as executive director of Appalachian Photographic Workshops. His
images have appeared in dozens of magazines, and he has authored three books of portraits and landscapes.
