Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an empirically-supported course that has been successfully taught in medical centers, schools, sports training programs, and the workplace across the country and around the world. You will learn mindfulness meditation as a means for you to take better care of yourself and to live a healthier and more resilient life. MBSR offers participants the possibility of developing a different relationship to stress. Research outcomes demonstrate positive improvements in physical and psychological well-being. Materials needed: Yoga mat. Prerequisites: This is an in-depth course that includes a full-day retreat on Saturday, May 5.
