For Workshop Instructors

The 2017 program is now full.  Proposal forms for 2018 will be available summer, 2017.

Workshops are intended to be an intensive learning experience for intermediate to advanced topics. Beginning level workshops will also be considered, provided the subject is not taught in our College for Seniors program. View a list of the workshops in the current academic term. This will give you some idea about our workshop offerings. We typically conduct about 20 workshops annually.

Workshops are generally conducted on the weekends and can be 2-3 hours, 1 day to 2 1/2 days in length. Occasionally a workshop might extend over two weekends. Your workshop teaching outline should reflect the time frame.

We typically pay instructors $40/contact-hour and OLLI membership is not required.

Participants are charged a fee to take a workshop. The fee is determined by various cost factors, potential enrollment and competitive factors. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop.

Workshops are open to the general public and OLLI membership is not required.

We work with the instructor to design an advertising program to let the OLLI members and the general public know about the workshop.

The Committee will review your proposal and may contact you to schedule an interview. We will notify you about the acceptance or rejection of your proposal in a timely manner.
